Best Credit/Identity Monitoring System?

Currently using Citi Identity which just flat out sucks and is not worth the $15/month. I get notices that someone ran a check on my credit six months after the fact. Accounts I closed over a year ago are listed as active. The time delay is just staggering and to me the program is basically useless. Just curious as to what if any credit/identity everyone else is using?

I believe my parents use Equifax, and its really fast. We have one credit card in the house, and rarely use it, however they recently used it themselves for a purchase, and right to my dads cell phone as well as our home phone, were a text (cell) and a message, stating that some account activity was noticed and they alerted us. PITA, but its good to know it works, I guess.

I had some thing through Cap1, it only updated 4 times a year... I got rid of it because I had to pay monthly. I could see paying for the updates but not for 2 months of nothing.

I got chase, I paid 12 a month through them, till my brother also with chase had his indetidy thefted with LOTS of charges to his card, they didn't stand behind him at all. Pissed me off.
