Post Right To Carry Reciprocity Act Passes

The U.S. House of Representatives today passed the National Right to Carry Reciprocity Act of 2011, HR 822, by a vote of 272-154. I took the opportunity to watch the debate on C-Span, and it was interesting to listen to the anti-gunners branding those who lawfully carry concealed as “dangerous” even as they made lame [...]

what always bothers me about this stuff is the fact that this was all addressed already...... in 1789 when the Constitution was ratified. Right to keep and BEAR arms.......how did we as a people ever let it get this far? Why should there ever be a question on owning and carrying a gun? The founding fathers felt it was important enough to make it 2nd on the list just under free speech.

leftists/progressives/the 60's,/etc -you know the trip... but if you think about it there were some pretty nasty prohibitions on RTKBA, even in the old west - towns that banned guns (..had to check guns w/ the law when coming into town), ..and i think back then concealed carry was considered "thuggish", ..i.e. oft synonomous w/ outlaws, ...i think concealed carry was banned in many places...

but now, we are turning things around!!! keep fighting, never give up, pedal to the metal!
