SLP Subframe Connectors
Found a pair of SLP 3point bolt in's for $200...cant beat the price. I've heard they dont play nice with some of the ORY's that are out there and can have some clearance issues. My car isnt lowered so im not worried about ground clearance, but the y pipe issue worries me a little...Any of you guys running these?

Silver & Blue- 02 Camaro SS, 04 GTO
My SS had the SLP connectors already installed when I bought the car. It doesn't seem that any extreme modifications were made and the fit well and I have no ride height issues.
My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj. Panhard, TA Girdle, UMI, Pro 5.0, Nitto NT555
My wife has a 2004 GTO with the rare SAP, 18" wheels, K&N Cold Air System, MSD, Ported TB, Frost tune, Denso Iridium, Flowmaster cat-back, 3200 Yank, 75k

SLP (like most of their stuff) suck. Go get a set from Midwest Chassis. Less than $200....10x better.

Easy answer is that if it fits and the clearances are good, then any 3 point SFC is going to improve how the car feels.

383 w/Meth & ProCharger- 2001 Camaro Z28
SLP 3 point is good. This was one of the first mods I ever got for my Camaro. It pre-existed UMI so there was no choice. But having a 3 point subframe connector is excellent to hold the car together in corners. Over the years I've obviously lowered the Camaro and have Kook's long tubes and catted y-pipe. The car sits low for sure but the only thing that scrapes the ground (when I'm not being careful) is the T-Arm tunnel mount. It's beefy.

See, the car sits low.

I had 3-point SLP's on my first Camaro. I loved them. Fit great no clearance issues. If I remember right, the stock exhaust was lower than the sfc. And I liked having a flat surface to put a jack on. I would normally pull up on a board or two. Then put a small 2x4 block on my jack (because I have a cheap jack that doesn't have a good head) and I could put the jack anywhere down the side.
If I had to come up with a negative issue, I would say they are heavy.
When I totaled the car out I hit a tree on the driver's side and went up on a stump. Busted the oil pan, steering rack, and bent up the k-member. But the car and the slp sfc were still straight.Last edited by blackcar; 07-01-2014 at 10:57 AM.
