    Unhappy Tach stuck @ 2200

Alright, so I go out to start my '98 Camaro today.

First, it has trouble starting so I look at the voltmeter after it starts up-fine.

Second, after it starts it revs all over the place and sounds like there is water in the exhaust.

Third, I notice there is white smoke in the garage. Not very thick and not visible to see coming out of the exhaust.

The car hasn't been driven on the road in over a month but has been pulled in and out of the garage several times. Warmed car up about once a week. When I put it in the garage it had a full tank of gas and a whole can of sta-bil in the tank. Half tank now.

When I turned the car off the tach stuck @ 2200. And oh yeah, SES light is on.

Car has Borla cat-back, descreened MAF, MTI lid, and bellows. 149,XXX miles on the car, I think I am the second owner and, I keep up w/ the oil changes pretty good.

the (haze) is probably just normal exhaust fumes, the water is probably condensation from sittng, pulling in and out of garage.

irratictach and running, id check the battery to be sure.

I am a southern boy staying with my grandma for vacation in WA. I got here on the 9th @ 7pm, and it's been snowing ever since. There is some ice underneath all the snow, but it warmed alot to 35* f today and we are afraid that the roads will turn into complete ice. I have not been able to drive my car since I got here, I am so upset about it.

So, I got my Innova electronics corp brand "Digital OBD2 car reader" today, And I scanned the computer w/ it the way it says to in the book. The code that comes up is P0300, TWICE! WTF is that shit! Why does it come up twice?

The book says the definition is "Random/Multiple cylinder misfire detected" I know what a misfire is, but what does that mean?

When the car was running on low volts it was reading the sensors correctly and caused a missfire because of maybe the wrong af ratio or something relevant. I was working in the dark one night and left my heads lights up and mine did this. Threw a TPS, Maf, and missfire code. Reset the codes and see if they come back.
