Hi,
My name is Kevin Carter, from Canada. I am currently looking at a 454 LS7 short block for my 67 camaro. I was looking for info on heads, and stumbled across this website. I look forward to learning and gathering information to better my project.

It has been, and will continue to be a long process. I have been building it as money comes in, also been busy on the farm and what not. I have had the car since I was 18 and am now 22, but I am not going to rush this one. I will post some pics when I get a little further into the build. I hope to be done fabrication by the spring, we will see I have alot of other things going on as well.

Welcome to the sight, any particular reason the 454 ls-7? You can make 500+ with an ls-2 block for a few grand less.

I found the short block over on lateral-g.net for a reasonable price.. this engine with stock heads should make 575 rwhp. its a little over kill maybe.

Remember: "There is no replacement for cubic inch displacement".

That's why I have a 454 BBC (well, .03" over so technically it's 460cid) in my 67 (along with a 3500 stall TH400 and 4.10 geared 12 bolt).
