Nice car, but kinda hard to start out with that many miles.

Yeah im thinking it be worth going a little extra money for less miles. And do you know what horsepower this year puts out?

No, I don't check out wickepedia. It is going to be slower than your current ride, though.

400 horsepower. Its a nice car. It has aftermarket wheels so take a close look at them and make sure they are a quality wheel and in good shape. the first gen CTS-Vs had weak rearends like our F-bodies so listen for rearend noises. The rearend is expensive to fix when it goes bad. And with that mileage, you might want to have a Auto Technician check it out for regular wear items like tierods, brakes, and leaks. I wouldn't necessarily shy away if it needs a tierod or has some small oil seapage...you just want to know before you buy.

Last time I checked, not really. There are a few custom rearend install here and there and some griddle kits to help hold the rearend together, but nothing that really stands out as THE answer to the weak rearend problem. The only answer is, don't super overly abuse it. You can floor it and power shift all you want and it'll pretty much hold up ok. Just don't do 4000rpm clutch dumps and avoid wheel hop.
