Corvette Grand Sport Wheels

I am looking at a set of 2010 Corvette grand sport wheels to put on my 99 TA. Just wondering if the 19"x12" wheels and 285/35/19 tires will fit the rear of my car without any trouble. I have not lowered my car if that makes a difference.

Isnt a x12 wheel a little wide for a 285?

Your gonna have to use a spacer, trim the bump stops down and probably bang the crap out of the wheel well to get them to fit depending on the offset you use. I'm running 18x10.5 wheel 295/35/18 tires and had to trim the bump stop down. Depending on the setup some guys have to take a rubber malet to the wheel wells to get the tire to fit without rubbing at that size.

Plus a 285 tire on a 12 inch rim is gonna be really stretched. I believe factory 12 inch vette tires are like 335 or 345 width.

**Did a quick search and looks like everyone running that size wheel is either running a big spacer or had to do some cutting. Smallest tire I saw them say they used was a 305 and it was stretched way more then the guy liked. Most were using 315 -335 widths.
