He charges you $300 to wax your car? I do it myself for about 10.

Sunset Orange Metallic- 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6
That is really nice work! The G35 had major swirls in the paint finish, that job required hardcore polishing.

Great response, yes all he does is wax the car. I'd love to look at your paint up close.
For the rest of you, I'm sure you can see the difference and appreciate the level of skill needed to properly polish, detail, and wax a car to that extent. That car is only a couple years old, and you can see how bad your paint can get in just a couple years.
He quotes an average of 8-10 hours to do the job from front to back. I've done 6-8 hour detail job and it's NOT fun. I'm happy to pay for a once of year beautification.

Wow thats a definate difference.
This thread reminds me of the g35 I saw this weekend at the beach. Some gotti kid driveing down the main strip. Car looked real good in the shadows of the buildings but once the sun hit it would could see ever line he took with the buffer. The buff marks were every where. As I was watching the car drive by I just blurted out holy buff marks, my gf was like wtf are you talking about.

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
Great work!!!
But for $300...I could get the products myself. Save me $300 a year for the next 4-5 years.
But...the garage is also a place for me to get away, so I enjoy going out there.
