Black- 2002 SS Camaro
Members build thread
There should be a section that has members and their rides going through their transformation! I know it already happens but there should be a unified area that they get to do this.
2002 Camaro SS Black Betty
Suspension:
Poly Trans mount, Solid Motor mount, Strut tower Brace
Performance:
SLP intake, Smooth Bellow, A.I.R Delete, M/T's on Salad Shooters
Apperance:
Re-Badged, Ultragauge, Whistler Mod, Racing Seats, Auto Hurst Shift Handle

For the most part, members post their builds in the applicable area of the forum. Currently, I am swapping out the transmission and posted a thread in the "Automatic Transmission" subforum. This makes it easy for other members having an interest in performing a similar swap to go to that area of the site. Helpful threads that cover new topics get "stickied" at the top of each forum. Also, the moderators will move threads to appropriate areas of the forum if they do not seem to fit where posted.

Custom Swirly Black- 2001 WS6 M6
I like the idea of having a section for this.
Maybe a subforum to the "member's rides" area?

Black- 2002 SS Camaro
Idk I have been hanging around Camaro5.com and that's like the big thing. Every single person posts in that section every day.

You can name it : "From the bottom to the top!" or "from dust to hot stuff!"
just ideas. I have been taking pics since I got my car.

I like the idea, but it may be difficult to "find" anything under a "general" build member thread.
The way it is structured now, you can go to FI to search for a build thread, or internal engine, etc.
If we did this, we would have to set-up individual "sections" under the build thread I think.

while it sounds nice, i believe that the current forum section layout work the best. the real issue is getting the members who create new threads to post them in the correct forum sections/sub-sections.
for example: if i'm looking to swap out front and rear swaybars, i would look under the "suspension and handling" section forum. i would not want to lok under a 'build section forum' to see if anyone has done a write-up on their build of installing new swaybars.
