what kind of luck is this
Well I finally got around to getting the Camaro out and about for this year. I am working on breaking in the new rear end. I went for my first 50 miles drive and managed to pick up a self tapping screw in the sidewall of a brand new MT drag radial. Needless to say the tire is now junk with only 50 miles on it. On a positive note the car drove great even with the new drag race suspension.

Better popping a tire than your new rear axle That does suck about the tire though.

you could always go where ever you bought the tires and give them as sad a story as you can give and maybe they'll cut you a break on a new one.

Suprised they didnt offer you a road hazard on them?-sorry to hear `bout that!!! thats the kind of crappy luck i seem to have at times!!...although while working at the service station i encountered alot of crazy things that punctured tires such as:spoons ,forks,razorblades/sheet metal car and house keys ..and the craziest one ..a whole spark plug!!! The funniest thing was when the lady asked if we could fix it!! The whole was as big as my thumb.....

You're not alone - I had brand new Michlen tires on my 1983 Mustang GT way back then, drive home from tire install (30 miles), roofing nail - clean hole - ruined a brand new tire.
