dyno results swapping from 3.23 to 4.10 auto
Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers

so im planned on putting 4.10's in my SS, i already bought them from a friend. their grinded down on two sides, he said the person who put them in have to get them in. does that sound right? ive never change gears.
also, if i lose hp? with the 4.10s will it still make my car faster? what kind of gains can i expect?

my motive gears fit right in. i had to grind down the axle spacer that goes into the carrier to clear the ring gear. i didn't grind the gear.

these are GM 4.10's, their grinded down on two sides of the rind, just on the very inner sides of the teeth. has anyone heard of having to do this?

Those might have been gears for a 2 series carrier. They might have been done to make them fit on a 3 series carrier.

where both runs done with a twelve bolt? I am assuming that they were.

mine were done with the factory 10 bolt, not 12 bolt. the only change was the gears.
