Found out this morning, they're both out of surgery and expected to make a full recovery...
But yes... the road they were on is notoriously full of bad drivers, and twisted. Road was wet too. And again... he sucks at driving.

*** Been a Long Time Since I Started a Train May TRAIN ***
Got a call everyone dreads hearing last night.
My mom fell trying to step on a dock and broke her arm just below the shoulder socket. Lucky no surgery is needed, just time to heal.http://www.ls1.com/forums/f7/my-6-liter-build-174257/

Pewter- 2002 Trans Am WS6 M6
Hope she heals quickly and well. My grandmother did the same thing and never regained full use of her arm. But she was bad about not following doctors orders.
Unfortunately this year has sucked way too many deaths in my family. We put my aunt to rest Friday and this was 2 weeks after my other aunt got a stage 4 cancer diagnosis. Both of them my mom's sisters. She lost her mom my last grandparent in January.Mods - Lid, Skip Shift Eliminator, MGW shifter, UMI SFCs, Founders Lower Control Arms, Founders Panhard Bar, Founders Adj. I did, picked up the wife and her 4 drunk friends from downtown at 2am Sunday morning. God that was an annoying car ride home.

Made this this weekend.
Each pole has 100 lbs of concrete, I went overkill because of hurricanes.

Made a meatloaf out of Deer and hamburger yesterday.
Tim - any cons with a Remington 30-06? I'm looking at one, gotta get me a new rifle for deer season. I get to go in TX this year. My dad said a 243 is good in the area we hunt in and I'm not against one, I just want one to drop a hog as well.Last edited by SMWS6TA; 05-30-2017 at 09:14 AM.

2016 Camaro SS - Summit- 2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM
Had a pretty productive weekend. Wife and I got up on the roof and trimmed the trees off of it Sunday. Saturday night we had a pretty good storm roll through and could hear some rubbing, so it was due. Also cleaned out the gutters while we were up there.... I love having an entire row of mature trees and bushes between us and the neighbors, but man the shit that clogs up the gutters is terrible. In less than a year we had one gutter full of 'potting soil' with a tree sprout growing up in it, same in one of the roof valleys.

Guys hunt hogs all the time with .223/5.56. If you load for the animal you're hunting, you can bag it no problem. Granted, two different loads (deer/hog) are going to shoot differently, but I'm sure wherever you're hunting probably has a range you can quick re-sight in when you switch.
Or just buy another gun. Can't go wrong having more guns.

Ohio doesn't allow rifles....well....they did start allowing pistol caliber rifles but no shouldered casing caliber rifles. If they did though I would probably have either a 30-06 or a .308. My buddy has a 30-30 that's fun to shoot but probably doesn't have the range you're looking for.

I started with a 7mm-08, and moved up to a .300 WSM.

Get gutter guards. Never clean gutters again.
