I beginning to think keeping track of my build cost and having it around my home office was a bad idea. Wife's been mildly since she seen it.

"You spent how much?!?......"Why?

I've tried pointing it out that it's been over a 3 yr period.....wasn't listening......I even tried showing her that was even doing all the other stuff we've done together over this period.

It honestly hasn't been that much, only about 4-5k, most has been on my engine rebuild (so far 2.4k (cam/heads/block, etc...)) and the rear end I'm waiting to install (yes, it really is almost finished)


So, I've adopted "Oh well, Fuck it, I did just sent you to Panama for 2.5 months" I'm trying so hard not to throw that in her face because part of the reason was due to her sister passing.

^ The reason why I don't keep track of what I spend on the car. That way I can legitimately say "I don't know" when the wife asks me.

Disclaimer: I do keep track of the big purchases (engine, trans, clutch, rear, etc), but they are hidden in my garage in a folder. Never do totals...

Wife is the same way, she's been keeping up totals on my Ruckus build but she can't complain about it since I sold my truck and I'm saving us ALOT in gas.... But I've managed to sneak in a part or two for the Trans Am.
