I want some 315s for my 18x 10.5's but one question i have is theres this guy selling two brand new 285/35/18 toyos for 140 total its a great deal but are these tires going to be too skinny for a 10.5 and also will it look stupid on the back? i can get them prob for 110 so its hard to pass up but if its not worth it i wont waste my money or time

Ya i looked some stuff up and for what its worth its required to use at least a 295 for a 10.5. So i guess i'll have to look for that. Now my only concern is rubbing but i'll fix that if i have to. Thanks though. cant wait to see these rims on my car and maybe it will give me more clearance considering i bottom out on every little speed bump it gets really annoying!!!

maybe i'll do the 285 35 18s in the front? i know stock for us was 275. you think i can get away w the 285's up front or will it rub somewhere when i turn?? Also i'm sure everyone on here has heard this but i was looking around and those 315 30's were for sale on vulcan tire Falken Azenis for 59 bucks each because they were not making those anymore and now they make the azenis 615k's. WOW i wish i seen that i would of bought 10 sets now everyone is selling them for 300 for two. Still a steal at that price but god damn 59 each?

The 285's are a larger diameter tire than the 275 or even the 315's I'm running. This might be an issue if you have TCS (I can't remember what the threshold is, but I think it was around .25"). See the overall tire diameter table (http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80679) for referencing tire diameters so you can keep your tires in roughly the same range (of course, different manufacturers will measure differently!).

I thought my 275 nittos were as wide as the Kumho 285 tires when I measured them. They looked wider anyway but you are right about some tires run thinnger.
I ended up putting on Bridgestone RE-01R tires on my GTO and they were considerably wider than the BFG g-force KDWS piles of shit.....lol
