I have a bit more ground clearance with my obx lts and catted y pipe. I believe at the lowest point I can fit a coke can under it.

Jay, mine is lowered on Strano's. I have a pic of my ground clearance somewhere. I'll try to locate it for you.

Those are 1-7/8" Kooks with the 3" ORY. I don't think BBK's would be too different.

If it helps any, I've had my exhaust set-up on my car a few years now. I've been lowered for 2 years almost. I've never once scrapped. Going over large speed bumps, up heavy inclined drive-ways, etc.

I just saw them in craigslist. I wonder if it will be a better deal that the BBK headers with ORY from summit. Thanks.

i have the borla 3" adjustable with pace setter lts and with the ofy and eibach sportline springs it drags any and every speed bump without goosing it over. even when running 60 or so up a steep hill the exhaust drags. it sounds pretty rough. but it looks good lowered

This really is my new favorite set up. Before the install I was alittle worried that it was going to be too loud but to my surprise its perfect. On a cold start its pretty loud, but nothing crazy. The idle is perfect with a nice medium tone. Under normal driving conditions the car has a nice deep tone. With alittle gas the car roars like a lion. Oh I almost forgot. Wide open throttle is just down right nasty.

Hi,just a question(possibly a stupid one)but I have a 99 Camaro SS.It appears to have a stock system, but it also appears to have a 3 inch Y and cat back. The muffler has two outlets on the left side.Is this a factory upgrade?I have heard that the SS came with an SLP exaust from the factory.but I don't know if this is right.Any thoughts on this? Thanks.

Yep that would be a factory SLP, what they called "two out the left" setup. Works great. A 99 model would have still used this if the option was checked. In 2000 SLP used the same I-pipe and muffler but changed the outlets to a dual setup (so the muffler is slightly different for tailpipe reasons) and instead had tailpipes to simulate a dual system and had dual tips on each side,,,hence the term "dual dual" for this system.

Both versions of the system work as well as any 3" catback on the market, and actually it is said that the "two out the left" setup actually flows a tad better than the later "dual dual" system.
