Well I sold the Sierra and kept my Silverado. My dad bought this new in '98 and it became mine when he passed away in 2010.

I bought her with 46k miles 2 1/2 years ago and it was priced about $3k less than any other SS that was for sale out there. I jumped at it, and besides the gas mileage, I couldn't be happier.

The one I was looking at was a black 03 awd with 98,000 on it and they wanted 18k for it. My Tahoe is an 04 and at the time it had 70,000 on it. I got them down to 17k on the SS but they only wanted to give me 14k for my Tahoe.

Mine is an 04 AWD and I bought it for $17k with 46k. I got lucky.
