House is moved and weather tight again as of about 11:00 this morning. I've had enough for one day. Might head out this evening and watch the rednecks smash 'em up at the demo derby.

Took the SS out for a few before I had to get home and get ready to go to my function today. Ran into a 69 Camaro that looked immaculate. He was ahead of me and seen me and got on it a bit...barked the tires so I caught up to him at the light.

We talked a few minutes and he said he wanted to run with me out of first so I obliged. We turned the corner and were side by side and he gunned it...I gunned it right after and by the time I hit 2nd I was flying by him. He had a small block 350 that was stroked.

Needless to say he slowed down ahead and as he was turning off gave me a wave and a thumbs up. What a bad ass car that was. Said it was mostly a cruiser and show car and I wouldn't doubt it one bit. It was that dusk blue color. Looked super sharp.

Made some good hours...and laughed as the woman servicewriter bitched about a tech skipping out on us and not coming back. What can I say? Two clown-ass techs who break things and doing whatever they want, yet the writers complain to US, the WORKING techs instead of management. Oh well.

Had a good time tonight with the PA boys! Was a decent turnout for the first picnic. Hit up a local cruise in, and let the gang take in the local car scene.

I wonder if Steve will have any interesting.........encounters this evening/morning.........

Sounds good. I went to Edgewater and spotted a fellow forum member. I can't remember his screenname for the life of me. Had a modded Silverado and I think he traded for a black/silver C5. Car looked REAL nice. Sounded nice too.
