Something else that's not on my 'things I've gotta try list'... Reptiles
Maybe because I've had a Red tail Boa and various lizards
But, I hear it tastes like chicken. Good to know that alligator tastes like fishy chicken. That is something I would have never found out on my own

i usually try anything, but there are exceptions, like raw oysters. i eat mussels, clams, oysters etc. only cooked/fried/baked. i love raw fish though. oh, and i eat (almost) no intrails. liver in certain combinations is acceptable, but it stops for me right after that.

I won't eat 'raw', anything that used to walk, slither, fly or swim I'm funny that way
I have tried fried clams.
And you are absolutely right. It's a carrier for the breading for me. Just about anything tastes good fried with the right batter or breading
Growing up, liver and onions was one of my Dad's favorites. So, we had to eat it at least twice a month. And, at my house you ate what was on your plate. I remember sitting at the table till bedtime a few times. But, going to bed without dinner was more appealing to me than eating that liver
I have never made liver for dinner

Well, I think that some things are an acquired taste. All the veggies listed above I at one time did not like. But, with certain spices and cooking methods, I can enjoy them now a days.
Honestly, it was hard for me to 'learn' how to like most green vegetables. But, now, it really rounds out a meal for me
I will add, that cooked spinach on it's own in not a favorite of mine. But, in some dishes as an ingredient, it works very well. I do like raw spinach mixed in with my salads though.
What'chu talking bout Willis?

I'm a college student. I had a george foreman but it was too complicated to use.
Kidding. I don't have a grill, just the normal oven/range & microwave. Past microwave prep my average cooking only goes as far as cooking rice on the stove top (Although I know how to do much more). I eat to live, not the other way around, so as long as it's efficient & healthy I'm not bothered by the taste really.
