Children, family and bills change your priorites. Mods don't become as important when you have a son/daughter to feed, buy diapers for, buy school clothes etc.

    Around down 13-15.

I wouldn't have picked up something with an LSx if I were too concerned about the mileage.

$60-65 to fill I assume. I never let it get under half if possible.
    Vettes get around 30 MPG.

So about $30 for a half a tank of gas? If so, that is not as bad as I was expecting.

Yeah, it takes about $60 to fill. 91 octane....which is Colorado's premium.

I know what Corvette's can get. They are also down 2 seats and will not hold my daughter's PT stuff.

    As for the modding....
Next year's tax return is putting longtubes, intake, stall, and tune on the truck.
Probably LS7 MAF and tranny cooler as well.

I've done some reading that tranny coolers are needed on these. Next year or two I'm looking for a clean TBSS to replace my reg cab 3/4ton gmc. The extra room and alot better mpg's would be nice. Plus there still fun to drive.

    Very much so.
I just don't want to throw the cooler on there yet. Freaking bumper-to-bumper.

    It is only one.

    Pre-drop....

    Since.....
    HID's ordered.
Calipers are painted. Working on getting the chrome vents on the front done as well.
Grill mesh will be flat black soon as well.
Oh, I also have a Kooks catted y-pipe waiting for headers.....once the bumper to bumper is over in December.

    Since drop....

You seem to like that gate huh? the TBSS is looking good, still gonna do the blacked out SS badges? I think that would look good and match the emblem upfront
