Oh the stories I could tell. Been riding bikes for about 20 years now. I've taught a few people respect in that time.....
It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.

M wife drives about her last 20-30 minutes home on a 2 lane road. Once a month there's head on collisions on that road. I've asked her a couple of times to just go through town. It takes a little longer but it's 4 lane and people are more apt to not be on their damn phone in stop and go traffic and if they are at least they're not doing 60. I know she still takes the 2 lane but she'd never admit it because she knows it bothers me. I've had multiple dreams about her getting hit on that road. I hate it. She's on that road at 8am when everyone is leaving for work and texting and calling kids to get their shit ready for school. Just a high risk drive.

Blew my damn calf out again. Was working with Chloe getting her ready for softball and she hit a pop up. I took off to get under it and felt the pop in my calf. Same thing happened 2 years ago on the same leg except we were playing soccer. Gonna be a rough couple days trying to get around the house.

I'm guessing you didn't tear it or would be surgery and a rough couple weeks of recovery. Eitherway, sorry to hear... sucks getting old eh.
When I was a kid my mom worked for Firststar bank and we went to their all employee outing at a park. My dad was playing football with some of my mothers co-workers when he blew his knee out. Needed surgery and to be on crutches for a few weeks. Anyway when he blew it out he was laying on the ground holding it saying some inappropriate words and some one of my mothers co-workers said "Is the swearing really necessary"(in a very bitchy tone) and I still remember the look on his face when he looked up at her and said "this is some of the worst pain I have ever felt, don't like it, get the F%^& away from me" I thought for sure he was going to right hook her.

Haha....right. Few times I've done something and my wife will ask "did you hurt yourself?" I just look at her like a cow looking at a new fence.
Did this same thing 2 years ago. Pretty sure something tears because my ankle will swell and blood collects in it making it a nice shade of purple yellows and pinks. Somewhere in my lower calf.

I've tried all of those except amputate. None it fixed but all helped a little.

Greetings from the Beaver house. We came down late last night after stopping at the local cruise in for a bit. Neighbors here are buying a strip of property out back so I am heading to the local courthouse to knock out a title search. This is what I call "a day off".

Looks like the '40 will be getting a shiny new radiator. Steamed a bit when we awoke the beast from its winter slumber. Appear to be some hairline cracks at the top of the copper/brass radiator on both sides. Best guess is that the radiator is at least 25 years old. Looking at one from Wizard Cooling right now.

Went to lunch with Preston yesterday. Haven't seen him in about 7 years, was good to catch up.
