My first car ever was a 1996 dodge stratus red... loved that car, bought it for 5 grand cash i was 15. Kept it stock for like 2 months then the mod bug hit me.

The reason I bought it was that i could haul around everyone (since most no one had a car in high school freshman/softmore year) and Nice bench in the back ! .

In the end, 2 car accidents, (both not my fault car was cursed! Women running red lights feeding their ) and 10k in engine work I sold it for 7k and bought my trans am... thank god !

Here is a pic it had a 2.4 L turbo engine w/ 5 speed swap, roughly 300 hp to front wheels, a lot of parts from srt-4 and some from turbo stratus of mexico (i live like 3 minutes from the border and my grandpa has an auto shop here in us) 10k was just parts ! I did almost all the labor, well my gramps auto shop did.... now he's selling it and im left without a lift... at least now I know how to fix most problems in a car....

here is a pic of the guy who bought it from me, he put a different front bumper on it and painted it blue... a lady rear ended him it also, mine was candy apple red...

cant answer this yet cuz i've never had an ls1 but i had an astro van in high school and 2 v6 birds, a grand prix gt, and then the lt1 and lt4 trans ams. but they are all gone now and i'm just stuck with the ole gmc canyon. when i get my money together again i'll get another toy, maybe a bike first, but before all that i wanna get a house
