Just bought 08 Z06

so clarify again what are they doing with the trans? its a 6L, or 4L with 6L internals?

it is a 4L65e with built to handle 650wrhp. It has a 3200 vigilante torque converter. Next year car will be shipped off the get more power prolly enough for the tranny to handle.

Tj said car made 530rwhp on 4.5psi not bad i am guessing 6 psi would have put me at 580 but im not complaining. 650 at the crank 18% drivetrainloss. He said the car will run high 10's with traction but we all know i wont have any traction. The car has been washed and filled with gas. Car is also tuned for 91 i let them know that is all i can get. I will get pics in a bit of the car being loaded. Dyno sheet tommarow i dont think he scanned it. Cant wait to pull into columbus tommarow night!!!! Columbus Nebraska is a mustang town so i am going to be after them. They have 100's of them there so they better look out.

nice numbers for an auto with that stall. you'll be happy with it im sure. just get some slicks and traction shouldnt be an issue

Yeah the bad thing is they dont have any good tires in size 19 and i really wanna keep the stockers cuz i like them. Yeah i didnt think the numbers were bad for 4.5 psi they told me 570-580 thru an manual. I wish i would have gotten full exhaust i am sure that hurt me. But i have big plans for it next year with full exhaust.

Yeah they tinted the windows to. THey said this guy was really good and he is booked up for 3 weeks. It will be one less thing i have to do when it gets home. I think you are right on the tire. I know it is the stock runflats. I dont like GY the ta got a crack in one of its runflats like 6 months after i got it and it could not be repaired. ANd my first car a 99 Grand am the gy tires made a weird noise so loud it was embarrassing to drive i had to replace with Kumho's. I will just leave them on the z06 till i burn them off. THem tires for the rear are not cheap.
