It seems like you are in the same boat as at least 10-15 other people on the forums, including myself. I've been running without the valance, just the tips mounted since this began. It's getting real close now.

I got them off of Ebay. The auction had just been posted as a buy it now and I jumped on it like a jack rabbit for $350. Its alot, but I don't care, I want it bad.

6 months ago, a girl posted up her complete CME, valence and tips in the for sale section and I was local so she sold it to me for, get this, $250!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, she wound up dicking me around and gave me my money back after a couple of months.

I just spoke with the guy making the valance and he told me the 2nd test piece is ready and that fitment is great. However, since fitment is being checked with just a bumper, he said the tester will have to put his bumper back on the car and test fit it that way to get a real good test fitment. He said the problem is that our bumpers are too soft and flex really easily, so that's why the bumper has to go back on the car.

Hopefully we can get some more pictures pretty soon with the valance installed and painted.

I'm thinking he's going to make at least 15-20 for the first production run since that's the number we had agreed upon to make the valance at that price. After that I'm sure he'll be taking individual orders.

There'll be more than 15-20 made if there are more people that would like to place an order within the 1st week. I'm just saying 15-20 is the minimum that would be made in the 1st production run. He could always call up the manufacturer and ask him to make more. It wouldn't be a big deal.

You don't need to be on the list to get the valance. It's just for my personal use, so I can let people that are interested know that they are ready when the time comes. I'll put your name down though.

I don't have that information but the last update that I got was that it was ready and the tester just has to put his bumper back on his car and fitted. He's a really busy guy so it could be a couple of days or so.

I don't understand? Where did the pics come from? How are you in contact with this guy if you don't have any information?

Like I said, I don't have the manufacturer's information. However, I do have the fabricator's information, which is who I've been talking to and getting pictures from. I don't know who he gets to manufacture his molds, but they are great quality. If you want to go ahead and preorder from the fabricator that's all fine and dandy with me.

I just got an update from Eric that the tester has his bumper and valance back for install. He's just awaiting pictures and fitment of the valance.
