OK, no moron here, but I plan on picking up one of these cars in the near future and all of my brake-torque experience has been in auto cars. I completely understand not to pull the e-brake or ride the hell out of the clutch, but is there anything else I need to know? Obviously a Corvette has plenty of power to just dump it a light them up, but for a CONTROLLED stationary burnout, what is the proper way to execute without costing yourself a great deal more than tires?

I rev mine to 4-5K and dump the clutch for my burnouts. I also use a line-lock.

Clutch and tires are 2 different smells what is wrong with some people. If you don't know how to do it properly don't tape your stupidity .
