I find things to work on with my scoots or my car.
Still though, changing plugs on an LS1 is phuucked....

Got the 65 wired up today. But the parental unit never showed after telling me he would several times this weekend. Just need a starter and fluids and hopefully I can get this beast fired up.

I use Iridiums for that reason alone but, they do perform very nicely in my WS6 and my bikes.

That sounds like laziness to me. I'm not saying your car is broken...yet. But there are things that work and things that don't work. Iridium plugs have been proven to run hotter than coppers and cause detonation because of that. They're appealing to people who don't like to pay a shop to change "easy" stuff like plugs, but still don't like to do it within recommended mileage. It's like not replacing tires when they get low on tread and saying "I'm fine", but they're the people that end up in a ditch wondering what happened when it rains heavy.

    45 minutes for a plug change....hardly difficult.

I will not use iridium's in my cars.

Honestly, the plugs aren't that bad. I can do mine in around 20 minutes. Preventative maintenance > fixing something broken. /thread.

That's another thing I love about my car. Everything is in plain sight in the engine bay.

My A/C Delete and Coil Relocation make my plug change time sub 5-minutes...I think I spend more time trying to push the wire boot onto the plug than actually installing the plugs themselves. #8 is still the hardest though

So I watched the ALMS race from Road Atlanta. There was a story about another ZR1 coming out with lighter wheels and I think other options. Cleared the Nurburgring in 7 seconds. Just when you think the Vette is perfect, other shit is being done to it.
