Went to the track last night. Got in 6-7 runs by myself and 4 against a new Mustang and a F150. The stang 1st time ravaged me cause he had drag radials and 200 shot. 2nd time was run on motor only. I just bet him by a nose. The F150 was running a 100 shot and tune. Absolutely no contest. 1st run - he jumped the light a full second before my light turn green. He got out past the 60ft when I launched, caught him by mid track and gapped by 1.5 car lengths, 2nd - 3-4 lengths, final run - I was down the return lane by the time he crossed.


No great accomplishment except from start to finish I was able to cut a second of my time and learn to trust my shift light more. Also broke into 92mph on street tires. best reaction time was .039.

Not bad for 1st time in 8-9 months.

Saw some great cars at the track today. Jalopy Showdown is probably my favorite event of the year.
