I have a '39 Chevy sedan with an LQ4 6.0 and 4L80E set up. It's a cruiser, but it does a pretty good job....

if my memory serves correctly, 70 was the only year they called it a gt and gave it specific badging. Other years (maybe '69 only) they had it as option code w-34 -- its basically a w-30 442 package in front wheel drive form. i think it included a higher stall, different cam and true duals if i remember right. good for something like 25 extra hp in 1970 measures. the one in this link is not mine but it is the same color in and out minus the vinyl top .. mine only has 54k on the clock but its not exactly in great shape - im halfway through sorting out electrical problems and tearing off everything broken

Don't see a link or pic in your post, but I am pretty sure I remember what the Toronado looks like. Your post reminds me -- I have a '70 455 engine setting in my lower garage right now.

yeah, i dont have any pictures on my computer and the cars in a garage about 30 mins away from my house but its a pretty distinct look. any garage with a 455 in it sounds like a good place. i figure if i give up on trying to restore the toronado, ill still have a low miles 455 with matching trans. to go with it for some other project

Updated photo of my Le Mans, with her newly installed hood tach. Probably need to get a better shot:

Thanks, but it really is a 20 footer. I'll post more when I have some time, off to work now!

Here's a few more from the show that day:
And one before the hood tach, next to another worthy classic:
