regular 87 octane gas varies around ~5.50$/gallon.
much more $$$ than south of the border.

no... more room than the 17x11 (required some BFH in the inner fenders in the rear)
fronts require no work.
extra info:
My reasoning for fitment was based on the fitment of the 17x11 +50mm allround.
w/ ZR1: front = 1/4" spacer, rear = no spacer.
going to C6, although wheel is slightly narrower by 0.5"), offset is based on the centerline... so I wanted the centerline in the same location... which would give me 1/8" extra clearance on the inside + outside. = safe enough.
So because the offset is ~ 1/4" more on the C6 (+56mm) vs ZR1(+50mm), added 1/4" spacer compared to ZR1.
making C6: front = 1/2" spacer, rear = 1/4" spacer.
Because I'm the "Crazy Canuck" and have huge Porsche brakes, those already offset the rotors hat by 1/2", making the no need for a spacer for me in the front.Last edited by Eugenio_SS; 05-29-2008 at 09:14 PM.

I know the thread is older but, I have a 01 WS6 convert and its completely stock.
I want to go with the Strano spring and Koni's, but I also like those Z06 wheels 18"
do I need spacers? Im not in the mood to put longer studs in. My end results I want a car thats is not much more lower than stock 1"-1.2" should get rid of the truck look. Also I wonder about brake upgrade's
I want to stay away from the unknown ebay rotors kits. Rotors are only as good as the quality of the steel used.

Strano springs + Koni's... no problem ;-)
brakes, get them from Strano as well... i recommend getting Brembo plain rotors (OEM replacement) and get a better pad than stock.
When you say Z06 wheels... do you mean C5-Z06 or C6-Z06 18" wheels ?
Which 18s you are thinking about ?

bracket, bolts, calipers, pads, 1/2" spacer behind the rotor, arp slightly longer studs than stock... but i'd do that anyways... lol
You can buy them here: http://www.prostopperformance.com/

I believe those rims should clear this combo I put together. 4 piston Brembo's and 14" Z06 Vette rotors all for under $700 or so. Best part is it's a bolt on setup.
