2000 Grand Prix GTP- 2000 Trans Am WS6 M6
Ran out of firewood for the cast iron stove, so had to go out and cut some while the weather was still nice. AS a result, I didn't get much time to work on the car today.
Spent less than an hour pulling the motor...this is the fourth motor I've pulled from a F-body, and I've gotten it down to an art
Then spent another hour cleaning up the stuff I won't need in the engine bay, which is practically everything.
Going up.
I think I can squeeze it out of there.
And it's out.
Back down on the jack stands.
Empty engine bay.
Brakes, A/C, wiring, and other random crap removed.

2000 Grand Prix GTP- 2000 Trans Am WS6 M6
Progress I made today (was a busy week, so I wasn't able to work on it till today):
Got the rest of the interior (shifter, HVAC, and steering column) out. Next comes the welding fun...roll cage, mini tub, sway bar mounts, subframe connectors, rear spring mounts, and travel limiters. After that comes the cleaning of everything before painting everything with some POR15.
This is all of the wiring out of a 4th Gen Fbody:

Just exactly how much caffeine do you consume in an average day? You are an absolute machine when it comes to working on your rides!

Oh yes Dr Pepper makes the world go around!!!
When this is done you"ll be able to say you truly built her from the ashes.
Will she retain the "Nymph" name or will she be called something else?
While everything is out of the engine bay I'd paint it at least, the exterior will come when you get more $$.

Only half of that bottle of Dr. Pepper
I am a highly motivated person, and if there are some good tunes on, I work just that much better/faster. I don't like sitting around waiting for shit to happen on its own, because we all know that will never happen.
I'll be keeping the name...her heart and soul are still there...only her body is different.

Damn man I hate to see that your car got trashed like that, kinda makes me mad that some one would do some crap like that. I am glad that you are going to give a rebirth to it tho, and make a hell of a sleeper also. Cannot wait to see the finished product!!

omni is just a lower price brand of paint...its not a bad paint...but people say if you put a lot of work into your cars body, then might as well spring for the expensive paint...i disagree,....my dad has painted a lot of his cars with omni and they still look good years later....
