Black- 1990 Firebird
Yes I am still building it, but with a CNC/fabrication shop, construction company and 4 kids (also internet sales) I get to work on it about once a month.
Also have side projects going on...
12 second 1994 Chevy Corsica (11's the goal this year)
Twin turbo 350 1992 Camaro (swaping from a single turbo 6er)
86 BMW 325e GM OBD1 ECM swap, 885 head swap, turbo
98 F150 n/a goodies, new motor rebuild
94 Camaro 3.4/3500 OBD1 swap, dyno ported and unported heads, tubular k and a arms etc
95 Camaro full 3500 swap, custom accy mounts, forged everything, balanced/knifed crank, boost etc etc 8000rpm rev limit
No doubt the v8 is starting with more power, but IMO it's cheaper to turbo (and more fun) if you have the patience and are resourceful. Once you start playing with boost it becomes very addictive. We have a lot of good builds going on in the v6 world this season, and I will not be the least surprised if there are several 10 and less time slips.

Stock- 2002 Camaro
Oh hey this was nothing against you at all. I have been checking in on your project every so often, looks interesting. i was just making the point that yes it is in the works, but its not done yet so who knows how much power and how fast it will be. Also another thing to consider is the cost and time spent. How expensive will this project be and how much time do you have invested? Do you have any idea when it might be done? i am interested to see what it will run. Thanks

but see thats whats nice about have more power, you dont have to worry to much about weight....
Look at the hondas, they rip out their entire interoir and remove their AC and still only run 13's (i know there are some fast ones, so please dont tell me "well some hondas are fast). they im next to them running 12's with my AC on and im watching fast and the furious on my flip out TV.
So the fact that the engine i just ordered weights 50-70lbs more than my old one......... doesnt really bother me
