The F-body Gods were with us...

So after getting a PM on Fquick about an Eastern PA meet I decided I would go check it out.

Turns out the guy who set it up doesnt have an F-body at all but his dream car is a 10th Anniversary Firehawk. He was a really nice guy and is trying to get a firehawk thats for sale and hopes to get it soon.

After meeting at the mall in Wilkes-Barre, Pa the 7 cars that met cruised down to the lake near by and drove around the shoreline drive that goes around the lake. We all stopped at the Grotto Pizza and ate.

I took some pics and was amazed when I realized the set up of cars that we didnt even intend on doing.

I have no doubt that Slowass would make a drive no problems.
The hard part is forking over the gas money.
Does great on the highway for what it is, but still....

I have been hoping to make it down to Texas for a while now, but shit always seems to work against me. I want to see if I can get a 10 second pass at sea level.

Yeah, gas prices are the main thing that hold me back from making those long trips. You would cry over the gas receipts after a long haul like that. Road trips are a blast though.

Making a sea level pass would be amazing. Im sure youll get one in soon. Gotta see your full potential.

Here to Dallas would be roughly $166 (assuming $3.50 a gallon) in fuel. Then that much again to get home.
And you know I couldn't stay out of the gas pedal with that new found power....

Yeah, that would be pretty pricey but well worth it. Dont even try and add up the costs for an Ohio trip

We got together a few locally once, missing from the pic is two gtos and a couple of saleens, but later that night we ran into another small pack. Had about 15 f-bodies alltogether. Seems like it scared a few people and the cops ran us off.. but im dealing with that still, the crowd is growing and hopefully next year we can get a local LsX cruise.

Haha, yea. Im dreading that day. Still not making any money sucks right now which means making money in the summer is gonna be even worse!
