T56 is a good cruiser trans, good mileage, fun at times, etc... Definately what you want on a road course, so it has it's advantages.

Most of us old schoolers aren't into the twisty stuff, if I were, I'd likely start with a different type of car anyway.

I tend to agree here. Although, budget is a limiting factor in my case and the 4th Gen isn't terrible in the corners. Still, every once in a while, I find myself checking prices on used Miatas...

Here is a quick picture of the firebird. Redid all the suspension and replaced all the bushings throughout the T/A. still more to come!
