That is strange. It's got to be something simple. When is the last time you ran a virus scan? I'll bet one of our computer guys can help you narrow it down.

it auto runs scans daily and I've done some manually the last couple of weeks.

Dont know if this goes here but the search fuction is complete trash.

I had that same problem with the quick links tab with my old laptop. Got a mac and no problems with it anymore.

+2 and add my other rig is an XP, and the netbook has the droid OS like said no issues there either, aside from slightly slower than the old LS1 setup.

found another thing I don't like.......the inability to go back and edit my posts after some predetermined time. Not sure if that was part of the old version though and just something that non mods can't do.

That's something that was integrated in both versions and if I remember correctly is a Admin controlled (length of time) feature.

I struggled with that when I was doing a bunch of writing here, always wanted to go back and add/edit something and had to ask a mod to do so. Easier to write it again usually
