I get the blue screen of death, it looks like it is going to work, then nothing.

you should be seeing this pop up window right before getting to the blue chat screen.

for those that experience issues with the chat program, are you getting this initialization page
and the respective OK(s)?

Yup. I get that and everything else like normal. Then it goes to the blue background of chat.. and nothing else ever comes up. Just the blue background.

clear/delete your browser cache (temp files) and try again. from the IE browser,

Tools --> Internet Options --> delete files ... navigation path depends on browser type and version. after the delete files process is done, close and reopen browser. it may be a cache thing.

I am using IE 7 on Windows XP at work, and IE 6 on Windows 2000 server on a laptop at home. it works on both.
