Junk on my Drain Plug

I see that every time i change my oil, not gonna say its a "normal" thing but both y ls1 cars have something on the magnet every time the oil is changed. The smoke is NOT normal.

id be more worried about the shavings than the smoke....... get the engine warrantied and call it a day, stop trying to figure out what it is and just have them either fix it or give u a new motor

Bearing material is not steel or iron and therefore will not stick to a magnet....

the engine might be warrantied but not the labor-i'm fucked on that aspect and i don't plan to rip it out myself, not at all something i'm capable of.

Seriously, get an oil analysis done to see what is happening in the engine. How much longer on the warranty period?
