We both used the Duplicolor high temp engine enamel. SOM for the calipers and black for the brackets.

Sorry to hear that. Did you start off with an adhesive primer before the base coat and then finish off with a few layers of clear?

you dont need hitemp SOM. the dupli color isnt 100% color match.
I used hitemp primer Gm dealer SOM rattle paint(16.00 for 5oz. can) then hitemp clear.
