Hopefully you get her fixed up, and have a better ride then you did before. Seems feasible to me with what you have to spend.
Congrats on getting into another fbody!

Sunset Orange Metalic- 2001 Camaro SS
Aparently the guy signed the wrong section so i had to go meet him and get the paperwork settled. Car should be registered tomorrow. Hopefully i'm driving it tomorrow. The transmission is gonna wait probably about a week, i took it around the block and its not that bad, but it will be coming out soon.
Those are my plans as of now
Well, 2k went into a beater cavalier and some is going in the TA and the rest is getting saved. The radiator is already out and the new LT1 radiator is going in tomorrow. When the trans gets pulled the hood is getting sent out for paint. Should be an exciting month.
Got a few more pics
Work has begun, will finish up tomorrow

That sure is an interesting contrast between the hood and the rest of the paint
I think I like the black wheels better than the chrome ones you have-and i'm not usually a fan of black wheels.

Other than the lt-1 radiator being slightly better was the current one broken or what?
Looks like you have some room for a cam swap

The plastic on the passenger side of it was cracked. Probably could have fixed it but one crack means another may pop up and seeing as a new one was less than $150 with a lifetime warranty i figured i'd just get a new one.
cam swap wouldn't allow me to get the car running tomorrow
But you make a good point

Nice pickup Tater.
Once you get the hood painted, you going with just the factory look, or blackbird stripes?

Would love to, but i'm gonna enjoy it the way it is for now. That extra cash feels good in my pockets. Got the car running and it runs great. 2nd and 3rd are real slow going in.
Thanks, probably gonna go stock. The black wheels break it up enough for me, don't want to overdo it.
Might have to get around to ordering some stranos, the eibachs are a little low in the rear for my taste.Last edited by tatertot91; 06-17-2010 at 06:17 PM.

I agree with keeping the rims. Take the black ones and put DRs on the rear for track days. Hey...Luos does it.
