    i've gone for a 4th or 5th gear downshift to 3rd and missed it and slid it into 1st...slipped the clutch and realized the r's were way to high and put the clutch back in realizing what was happening. never just dumped it into gear though.

    I will do it.
    Someday. Set up for all-around performance. Road course, do okay on the drag strip, drive no problems on the street, etc....

    Too many other things going on right now to even consider it though.

    Other than being over eager on the clutch and grinding it, I think the only one I've botched is 5-6. It's easy to pull down into 4th if you're not holding decent pressure to the passenger side.

    Yeah, i always palm the left side of the shifter and push over to the right and down making sure it goes into 6th.
