If you do have streaks, I've heard if you park it in the sun and let the wax heat back up, then pull it into the shade and buff it with a clean towel it will take streaks/swirl marks out.

I gave up on carnauba wax it always seems to leave a filmy haze.

Ditto. I've just heard that the wax will melt back down into a smooth finish and then you can buff it.

I've never tried that before, however I did use dish soap to strip the old wax and re-waxed it worked great, no streaks whatsoever!!!! I guess I just how to much build up on it!
