Oh hell I strongly disagree. I agree from a maximum RWHP perspective...but you can SD tune so many more parameters that makes things much smoother...gets you a much wider power band........I didn't say MAF's were evil....but they are restrictive from a fine tuning perspective.

Impulse Blue- 2004 GTO
When I did my car, I tuned SD first. Got the VE and everything perfect. Car ran great. Thru the MAF back and it ran like crap. But once I recalibrated the MAF, there was no difference.
I think you'll find that on many other cars that end up doing both. Just takes awhile to get both in line.
