Yes its hard to get traction sometimes.
I went Friday night it was on the verge of raining(humidity 98%) and the DA sucked at 750+.
Only about 20 street cars were there and mine was in the top 5 fastest.(which is pretty bad)
I got three runs in all 12.5 and 12.6's with 1.9 60fts on 2 of them.
On the third run the track worker sprayed some VHT for me and mopped it around.
I hauled out of the hole with a 1.815 60ft 8.078 at 86.71 but lifted at 1000 ft and slowed to a 12.625 at 108.14 as it started to rain during my pass.
7.89 at 88.4mph and 7.87 at 88.64mph are my previous bests with a DA of -300
That was it for the night,I am going back this Friday with my rain check in hand2010 Camaro SIM 2SS/RS A6
1999 TA A4 NBM
12.265 at 110.52mph

BTW you never have to deal with humidity or rain or snow or frost like Friday the 12th
My car had ice on it by 10pm that night.

Our track is open until the first snowfall, they close that day even if it turns nice again

That's pretty sweet. In SW Ohio, they would close in October generally regardless of the weather. Maybe a week or 2 into the month and that was it. A disadvantage that also plays a roll is the tracks in SW Ohio are about 800 feet above sea level to begin with, so even with good air, we won't see the mineshaft conditions that you have.
Out here the tracks are about 1200 feet in Phoenix, and although they stay open all year round, even in the winter down there it's 75 degrees so DA's aren't spectacular. You might get there early enough in the morning when it's still in the low 60's and have good air, but they don't seem to have the track ready to go quick enough, and by the time you get through tech and unload things, it's already warming up.
They do have late night events to go past midnight during the summer months, but not sure they do that in the winter because people think lows in the 50's around here is cold

2.0 was the fastest ever but that was on an 1/8th mile track so I don't know how that did

I thought I would update my thread with a new PB.
DA was about -750 running into a 10-15mph head wind
My new PB is
60ft 1.75 1/8th 7.809 at 88.52 1/4 12.265 at 110.52
The car ran 6 x12.2x and about 10x12.3x and 2 where I blew the tires off trying to really load up the converter.

Lovin' those DAs!
Really good times with your mods, too!
So, you do or do not have the OE diff? I'm not sure after reading/skimming this thread.

^^^so you have another diff waiting? Any problems with your OE unit yet? Any mods to it?
1.7x 60 ft is pretty hard on the ole' 7.6 carrier.
I've had a few 1.98 when I have new summer performance tires, but I've never used drag radials.
