Yea I believe mine is closer to the front. and mine is open on the bottom side it would be a fairly easy task to build duct work for mine. I'm just to lazy. LOL Yea I also like the 120 mph guages, mine is that way stock. A buddie of mine has a factory 130 mph in his. his was an actual police vehicle, it states below the mph that it is officialy calibrated. He bought it at a auction with 85,000 miles on it. it's lowered from the factory with the old 454 SS wheels on it. It also had the ugly w/t front end but he replaced it with the composite light set up. to be honest that thing will fly. I can get him out of the hole due to the gearing mine has 3.42 and his is 2.73. Anyways love your truck, SWEET.

He wanted an old camaro like my 68 ss big block but he's not very mechanical so I talked him into ordering a new camaro ss with a 6 speed (so I didn't have to work on it). He has drove it some like he took a trip to Tenn in it but it pretty much just sets in his garage. I've told him it's getting a lot of miles on it he should just sell it to me. lol by the way I think he could out run my big block
I'll see if I can get a pic of his SS

with the crank sensor check to make sure the plug isnt soaked in oil . those have a tendancy to leak into the plug and screw things up . also check the wires on the pigtail for chaffing or the outer casing to make sure it isnt melting together
