I'm asking people their experiences. Maybe I should have been a little more clear.

The autos feel quite a bit faster afterwards from the reduction or removal of tq mngmnt, but that can't be quantified on the rollers.

What is torque management? I think I have an idea but I'm not positive.

It's a strategy of pulling lots of timing as the tranny shifts. The idea was to make life easy on the trans. This large pull of timing just before and after the shift really hurts the engine's momentum. You know that feeling that the 2-3 shift feels weak and the power dips...

On top of that, the trans is made to shift quicker and a bit more firm.

    Thumbs up

Here's how my A4 car shifts after some tweaking from Frost...There's no lug down, or slide into gear or anything negative about how it shifts IMHO...

FWIW, the transmission is 100% stock and has no shift kit or any other mods aside from computer tuning.

Will my tranny not last as long?
Or become more prone to damage?

? No emails from anyone named Ted, or even anyone from NC for the last 2 weeks even. If you are using the contact form on my site and it isn't working let me know. Thanks.
