Why you selling the slicks? Not that the rearend can handle it but way better than a fast for performance at the track.

they dont fit. i have ground the brakes down far and they still wont fit. i have nitto drag radials on now so i can hook ok. i wouldnt have launched on the slicks anyway to avoid blowing rearend. i want to put a 9" in this winter and then i will get the same wheels but the fbody specific ones. no grinding required.

im surprised you even questioned this race. your gonna pull him pretty hard off the line, even if you ease into it. Then comes the top end, where an ls1 really shines. Your gonna win no matter what(unless he's hiding mods). He really doesnt know what he has coming.

Motor should be pretty damn close to what both of you have. Should be within a car length of each other depending on if he can drive. If he can you might getting a different outcome than you expected. Keep in mind a ls1 and a mach 1 are pretty much the same. With the 100 shot, you don't stand a chance. You could keep your slicks on and you still wouldn't be close. Enough asking who wins this or what, just go to the track and race him. Until then pretty pointless to keep bench racing or asking others opinions.

i dont know if you noticed but he is cammed. i will give him an easy win on motor. and the mach gettin 1-2 lengths with spray. that is assuming a run where the mach doesnt back out is set up at a dragstrip.

Didnt see that he was cammed, then yes he should be able to take the mach 1 on motor. On spray though I still don't think he has a chance.

Alright we raced. on motor i ran a 12.4 to his 13.2. we didnt get to race but his best with a 75 shot was 13.0 spinning off the line. we think something is up with it, like not spraying all the way, since the times werent good for the spray. my best for the day was 12.3.
