The High Beam indicator on a 99-02 is almost vertical with the 1 on the tach.
The High Beam indicator on a 97-98 is almost vertical with 500r's on the tach
Therfore if I were to turn on the High Beams, the service vehicle light would come on. Why should I settle for that.

you shouldn't. a will say, it's an honest mistake that needs to be corrected. i've had one PM conversation with the seller in an effort to fix this. now, no need for anymore people coming in with their opinions, at this point.

I have had some PM discussions with the seller as well. Basically stated the same thing that mrr23 did.

Well 96lt1z28 won the dispute with Paypal. Paypal quoted that the didpute would have been in my favor if 96lt1z28 sent me an entirely different part. But since he sent me a part that was close to his discription, their is nothing they can do about it. For instance: if he sold me white faced gauges and I received a bumper, Paypal would have favored me. But since is was close to his discription(yah right) they favored him. This is B.S. WTF I get dick out of $40.
Remember everyone that if you buy off of this guy, he don't know WTF he is talking about. If he makes a mistake you pay it. WTF

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
Not that it matters...but my overlay shows a 5500 redline.
Doesn't matter to me....I go over the 6000 redline.

Good person. No f-in way. Crap like this don't just happen. I proved that he was wrong. He made the mistake and couldn't fess up to it. Because of this jerk, I have a P.O.S that I can't even use and I'm out $40 and I still don't have a white faced overlay that I can use. No offense mrr23, but your telling me that he is a good person for not fixing his mistake. I don't get it. I hope someone fucks him over bad.

I said overall. so far, at least one person got what they paid for. i still support your side. you should try to work with paypal some more. did you show them the pic of the box that shows 99-02 and tell them your car is a 98? paypal actually sucks at protection. their postion is they are only a money transfer facility. that's all.

Yes I did. APC quotes that 97 and 98 are the same. I have all 6 of the needles off of my 97 gauge cluster. The symbols for gas, battery, oil pres., and temp gauges don't light up on the overlay. But where the original symbols for those gauges are, there is a glowing light behind it, but you can't see the symbol. Also when the high beam indicator is lit up, it shows SERVICE VEHICLE.

Black- 98 T/A
My 2 cents.
The part is incorrect and not as intended. All the other gauge years, applications and so forth is irrelevant.
Bottom line, incorrect overlay. Full refund should be offered.
I go to buy a set of wheels for a Trans Am... Ad does not specify WS6 or Trans Am.
I get a set of WS6 Wheels and Eagle F-1's for $600 that are in great shape. Seller says I made a mistake and sold you the wrong wheels and tires. Would you agree to pay me an additional $600 or send them back? Yes, the 17's will fit a Trans Am, but buyer got the good end but not what he expected or thought.
What do you do? Because seller shipped the wrong wheels/tires do you send them back? Send them back for a fee or just keep them?
Same principle, just the seller is getting screwed and expects buyer to make right.
You get what you get. An even swap for the gauge faces or a full refund.
