yeah you lost me as well. my car doesn't have a supercharger but i perfer nitrous, for the record. if your talking about the heads that come on a lt1 in any camaro between 93 and 97 , they are all aluminum.

sorry, i was talking about my car being supercharged. and like drewhenderson13 said i got it out of a big body so that where i got the iron heads. I lkie the idea of that monoblade and im definitely gonna have to put it on my wish list. If i ever get this thing back together.
Thanks for all the input from everyone, its been very helpful.

Iron vortec heads are not the same as the heads on a b-body LT1 motor. The ports are very similar, but they arent the same heads nonetheless. Also, a monoblade is overkill for even most built and blown LT1s. When you get to 700rwhp, start looking into one. There is such a thing as too big.

so what are you saying? Go with a twin 58? the difference in cfm between the two is only like 200. not that i know what that would do for an engine, but i'm sure one of you out there knows how to explain it in layman's terms. Right?

whoever the dude is who thinks he has an LT1 with iron vortecs, definitely not. You may have an iron head, but a vortec head 's coolant ports wont match up with the coolant passages on an LT1 block, totally different design!
