    I love my headers (QTP, not cheap). Cheap insurance against Y-pipe bangs: Poly motor mounts; install them when you install the headers. No downside to poly motor mounts, IMO.

    my suggestion is Kooks headers and y-pipe with cats. They tuck up really nicely, they are easy to install, they are availible in stainless so they will never rust, they are just about the best on the market. I wouldn't cheap it out unless you want to replace them in a few yrs. with anything coated once it chips its all over, they will rust. JMO

    Jet hot headers are hooked with a coating and i belive a different collector.
