getting 4.10's - need help w/ speedo recalib
getting 4.10's installed at the local speed shop and the mechanic is telling me it is an extra $300 to get the speedo recalibrated due to the fact that i would need to purchase a programmer. I told him to hold off, cause i am waiting for a decent program to come out where he can dyno-tune in addition (I have heard the current ones are lacking in this area - is this true?).
Is there a better way I can recal my speedo than purchasing a programmer? Can I use someone elses for 5 minutes, or are they vehicle specific?

most are vin or year specific...mostt decent speed shops will charge you less then $100 to change for gears alone since it literally takes about 7 mins start to finish lol...someone with hptuners is your best bet since they are year specific not vin
