If you still have your stock 10 bolt rear end I would avoid the 18, it doesnt sound like much , but it puts alot more stress on the axles etc. I know it looks great, but it will shorten the life of that rear end quite a bit. Also if money is an issue, tires go way up in price for the bigger rims. Just a thought.

you need to match the tire size front and rear so you would not want to mismatch the sizes or you will end up with it sitting higher in the rear. you could check with a tire co. on what tire sizes would match hight wise. I gave you the offsets & Sizes I used above in my post. Give the guy at RT a call he was very up on what you can and can't use on a F-Body. A 275/40/17 is 11" wide. I love the set up I have looks good from the rear and no mods to the car just a clean look. Good luck

Well I just dont want them to look small on the rear, I was going to get a new rear in the future but now that im spending on wheels mind as well do it right the first time. Just see alot of people with the 17's and havnt got to see anyone with 18's, I like the 17's tho but would be great to see the 18's.
