it's kind of weird... with the cable modem i'd play world of warcraft and have 98ms of lag in game and have little spikes here and there that woulnd't even register... with the verizon i have around 110ms lag and it runs completely smooth with absolutly no spikes... i even got to turn my video settings up a little because of that... lol...

Same here. I had been running dsl for at least 5yrs upgrading in speed several times latest was 6mb which was shared among 3 pc's a labtop and 3 cellphones with wifi, not all at once but on the rare occasion several were going at the same time even watching a video was near impossible especially in HD. Service was also horrible I lost internet connection at least a dozen plus times a day. Finnally got sick and tired of it and upgraded to comcast, I have no idea why I ever wasted my money on such slow shitty service for so many years. The speed probably would have been adequate on one pc but with as much as we use the internet around here(actually got a letter saying we reached our 150gb limit on my last month with dsl) it was not enough. Its awesome to d/l movies, songs in minutes, its also nice to be able to stream video in HD without in going in and out of hd because of slow ass internet. In the last month I have yet to lose my connection once and watch HD netflix with no problems at all, money well spent IMO.

Oh and my cellphone on 3g had better upload speed than my dsl had LOL.
